1. That familiar phrase: “I just want to feel like me.”
It’s something I hear all the time.
From brides. From bridesmaids. From women at trials who sit down and say, almost apologetically,
“I just want to feel like me.”
And I get it- because I’m engaged myself. I’ve had those exact same thoughts:
“I want to feel beautiful, but I still want to feel like me.”
Not like I’m in fancy dress. Not like someone else’s version of bridal. Just… elevated. The best version of myself.
2. What It Really Means to ‘Feel Like Yourself’
So what does “feeling like yourself” actually mean when it comes to makeup?
To me, it means not being completely transformed.
It’s you on your very best day. It’s skin that glows. Features enhanced. Everything balanced.
Nothing harsh, nothing too obvious, just makeup that makes you feel confident, polished, and undeniably you.
And that’s exactly what I do for my brides.
Because I know a lot of you have had your makeup done before and didn’t love it.
Maybe it was too heavy. Too matte. Too “OTT”.

3. How I Help You Get There – My trial process & signature approach
Here’s the truth: your natural isn’t the same as my natural.
That’s why I ask lots of questions. I want to know what kind of makeup you usually wear. How you want to feel. What you don’t want.
I’ll look at your skin, face shape, eye shape, and talk you through what will work beautifully for you. I’ll recommend a look that brings everything together - one that enhances, never overpowers.
And when we do your trial?
I’ll pick everything apart (in the best way!) so I understand exactly what’s going to work. From base to blush to lashes, nothing is random. I only use products I’ve tested on myself and a range of skin types — I know how they wear, how they move, and how they hold up after hours of dancing and happy crying.
My Signature Style
Think: radiant skin, softly smoked eyes, lashes that lift and shape (without taking over your face).
• I use individual and cluster lashes to build fluffy, bespoke lash shapes that open up smaller eyes or elongate round ones.
• If you have freckles and want them to show, I’ll make sure they do.
• If you have oily skin, I’ll keep the glow on the outer areas to avoid sliding, shine, and touch-ups every hour.
• If you love Charlotte Tilbury but can’t get it to sit right on your own skin — that’s where I come in. You’ll get that signature Tilbury glow, but in a way that’s actually tailored to you.
